Features of the Custom-Made Hirz of Imam Jawad
In the noble book Muhaj al-Da’awat, Sayyid Ibn Tawus narrates a tradition of Imam Jawad, where he states:
“Protect yourself with this supplication, the Hirz Kabir of Imam Jawad (the Great Amulet of Imam Jawad). If you encounter the armies of Rome and Turk, and all the people of the earth unite against you, no harm will come to you, and you will be safe from all of them.”
The Hirz Kabir Imam Jawad (Great Amulet of Imam Jawad) stands as one of the most authentic amulets recommended by the Ahl al-Bayt. Following Imam Jawad’s (a.s.) instructions, we write it on deerskin, tie it with 100% pure silver in the form of a reed or straw, and engrave a special prayer on the silver. After reciting the specific prayer, we tie it to the right arm.
