The Story of Hirz Abu Dujana Ansari’s (r.a.) 

Abu Dujana Ansari (r.a.) was one of the close and loyal companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). One night, he encountered a strange disturbance and sought the Prophet’s help. In response, the Prophet dictated a protective text and instructed Imam Ali (a.s.) to write it down.

Abu Dujana placed the amulet in his home, and soon after, he heard the strange entity say, “By God, you have burned us!”

The next morning, Abu Dujana reported the incident to the Prophet, who advised him to remove the amulet unless the entity returned. If it did, the Prophet instructed him to place the amulet back in the house.

Abu Dujana later testified that after that day, neither he nor his family experienced fear again. The strange being never returned, even after the Prophet’s passing.
